The final image in this set holds the calm of a page about to be turned. The figure stands centered between the edges of absence and becoming. A faint gleam from the pond draws the eye — still water, still air. The mask remains, but now it feels less like concealment and more like reverence. As Clarice Lispector once wrote, “I only achieve simplicity with enormous effort.” This image is that effort made visible — and its reward is grace.
