Stillness Between Frames VI

Description

A barely visible figure—light catching only its outline—recalls the photographic studies of Étienne-Jules Marey, who saw motion as a sequence of becoming. The mask, almost invisible, hints at inner dialogue rather than disguise. We are not watching someone leave—we are seeing them be in a way the eye never catches in real time. The photo listens rather than speaks.
